2006 Subaru Forester Review

Tuesday, July 04, 2006

You have to see it to believe it – best in class and very versatile.

The Subaru Forester offers more features for your money than Toyota, Honda or Volvo.

Drive one today and see for yourself. You definitely get what you pay for in life, but with the Forester you just get a little more. Also, have you ever tried finding a used one? It’s like pulling teeth.

Listening to customers delivers style, convenience and practicality in the Subaru Forester.

Subaru has been around and hanging tough with the big boys for a while now. The Forester was first introduced in 1998. Since Subaru actually listens to its consumers, every year the car gets better. Whether it’s making it more stylish, or adding a couple nice convenience touches on the interior. The vehicle is very practical. Has tons of cargo room. You can get a value model like the 2.5 X in a 5-speed or Automatic for under $23,200. Or for the top model LL Bean you will spend around $27,800. That’s right only $27,500 gets you:

  • leather, wood grain,
  • 6 disc cd changer,
  • heated seats, and
  • power seat.

Not to mention the value model 2.5 X comes with:

  • power windows,
  • power door locks,
  • cruise control,
  • side impact airbags,
  • dual front air bags,
  • cd player,
  • am/fm radio, and
  • keyless entry just to name a few.

Do I have you interested yet? GOOD!

Power and Safety: it's all covered in the Subaru Forester.

97% of all Subaru’s purchased in the past 10 years are still on the road. Why? Because the engine comes from an airplane.

A what? Yes that’s right, Subaru is owned by Fuji Heavy Industries. Fuji Heavy used to manufacture Airplanes and Trains in the late 50’s. The first 2 Japanese airplanes to come into the US market had a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder boxer engine. That’s the same engine the Forester has. I know it's getting pretty good.

Also Subaru’s come standard with All Wheel Drive. Simple version of AWD is that all our wheels work at one time. When one wheel slips the other ones grip. It’s that simple. Whether you take your vehicles off road, through snow, through creeks, in sand, or just to work and back every day.

The Forester does it all and doesn't hurt your pocket. Why do you think I own one myself?
